Simplicity 2588

Pattern Description:
                                                             Simplicity 2588 Project Runway

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I guess I was semi please when I finished, besides the road-bumps I was pretty satisfied.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
I didn't pay much attention to the instructions the first time. But I made another
dress from this same pattern, read the instructions and they were decent.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I liked that it wasn't too difficult to look at and piece together. I also disliked the fact that the seams around the waist and neck didn't match up when I put the zipper on. I had to keep readjusting the zipper to get them to match up and still they are a little off. Not sure if it was the pattern or me though.

Fabric Used:

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The upper back portion was too big. I had to take it inI also cut too deeply near the pockets. Being lazy trying to use the serger and I had to take the sides in to compensate for that. Which was a big mess. I had to keep sewing and ripping the side seams to get them about even. Even still they don't look the best. Lesson well learned. Besides that though the pattern was quite easy and this is definitely and item in my wardrobe I would wear

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would sew it again. It a relatively simple dress to make and there were few alterations needed. I am making another dress from the patterns offered although not exactly the same one. I would also recommend this pattern to others.

There were some lesson's learned with this pattern. :) But overall very happy.
