The first pair I made were completely in Kente print. I wanted them to be a bit form fitting and knew that if I kept the Kente(Cotton) the fit would put stress on the seams diminishing the lifespan of the shorts so, I remade them in a ponte knit and added a cuff at the hem. I ended up liking the ponte and kente better than just the kente!!
The necklace below was custom made. I love it, not only does it match my outfit, it reminds me of the sun.
